Applications
Oil & Gas Industry
High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS)

High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) is an automated safety system used in industrial settings (oil & gas, chemical plants) to prevent over pressurization by shutting off the source of high pressure. As a SIL 3-certified, final layer of defense, it protects downstream equipment and the environment, often replacing traditional relief valves.
Metering Skid

A metering skid is a pre-assembled section of a production system mounted on a steel structure, designed for the accurate measurement of gas and liquid products. It can be installed in both onshore and offshore locations depending on operational requirements. While multiple process parameters are monitored, the primary variable measured is flow rate, which may be expressed as either mass flow or volumetric flow depending on the selected technology and user specifications.
Our metering solutions are designed for a wide range of applications across upstream, downstream, and transportation operations. These include production facilities (onshore and offshore), transmission and distribution pipelines, refineries, loading and offloading terminals (import/export), and storage facilities such as tank farms for oil, gas, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). In summary, our metering systems are suitable for all major transportable hydrocarbons including crude oil, natural gas, LNG, condensate, LPG, naphtha, gasoline, diesel, and fuel oil.
The selection of a suitable gas or liquid metering system depends on the specific application. As a minimum, the following criteria must be considered:
- Type of fluid and its physical/chemical characteristics
- Presence of foreign matter in gas or liquid streams
- Flow range and flow regime
- Temperature range and accuracy of temperature compensation
- Maximum operating pressure and allowable differential pressure
- Type of volume registration system
- Required measurement accuracy
- Type and method of proving system
- Sampling and analytical requirements
- Control system integration requirements
- Installation and maintenance space constraints
